What your group’s going to ask

Do I need to stop using 18Birdies, GHIN or my current golf app?

No. gringo isn’t trying to replace your GPS, rangefinder or official handicap service. It’s built for the games, group scoring, side action, rivalries and history you share with your regular crew.

Can people watch and make picks without playing?

League members who aren’t playing can follow the live round and join supported watcher token competitions. You can also send friends outside the league a link to watch and make picks.

Does gringo handle real money?

No. Games are recorded in tokens. gringo keeps the ledger and shows who owes whom. It does not collect or transfer payments.

What if our group doesn’t want drinking bets or R-rated commentary?

Those extras are optional. Your group can keep the experience clean and focus on golf.

What if only half my group joins?

That’s fine. Everyone who joins gets the games, the booth and the ledger. Anyone not on the app plays as a round guest and someone in the group keeps their score. They usually join after the first round.

Can a visiting friend join our round?

Yes. Round guests can join through an invitation without becoming permanent league members.

Can I start my own league right now?

Not yet. gringo is invite-only while we prepare to open additional leagues. Join the list to hear when access becomes available.

Does it work on iPhone and Android?

Yes. gringo runs in a mobile browser and can be added to the Home Screen.

What will it cost?

The 15 founding leagues get an introductory league rate for their first year. The waitlist hears pricing first, before anyone pays.
